Specialties: Our temple is open for meditation every day. Our bookshop is open 10-12:30 and 2-5 daily (closed Wednesdays); and 10-11, 12-5 on Sundays. We have classes and talks on Vedanta at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and at 11 am on Sundays. We have other special events from time to time, like Kirtan, Ram Nam, and some annual celebrations. Established in 1930. Founded in 1930 by Swami Prabhavananda, the Vedanta Society has grown to include branches in Santa Barbara, Trabuco Canyon, South Pasadena, San Diego, and Piñon Hills.
